Roads are narrow in this remote yet accessible corner of the highlands. Here you can reduce speed to indulge in relaxation, to enjoy the fresh air and pristine natural conditions.
Participate in your favoured pursuit, be it family walk on the beach, in the forest trails, GPS treasure hunt or wilderness exploration.
A wet suit makes swimming a treat. Scuba dive. One can see down 7m before getting in.
What do divers normally look for? You will find most items.

Capture wildlife while on a guided walk. The digital camera makes it so easy - Otters, Eagles, Lizards, plants and landscapes - the scope is vast.
Guests recent sightings:
- The Oyster Catchers have come inland to nest and a couple of Curlew are back too. The Sand Martin and Wag tails have not put in an appearance yet.
- The warmer weather has brought a lot of bugs out. I saw a good fish rising in the river yesterday. I guess the fishing will come on by mid April as it used to do some 10 years back.

- Wild Cat
Water sports. Canoeing, Wind Surfing, Trailer Sailors can find launching easily.
Join Kilchoan's annual fun regatta and dance (26th & 27th July).

Angling for everyone, it's there.
Services are good. I can help you with booking accommodation, this needs to be dong well in advance as space is limited.
Navigation. OS map, and one covering a larger area- you can be at the top of a Ben and wish to identify a far off mountain or loch. Costs about £6 each. The new, hand held, GPS units with in built maps are marvellous but get to know it, before travelling.
